Overview of the Symposium
The 2nd Singaporean-German Symposium on Medical Plastics Engineering is jointly organized by MedTech - Institute of Medical and Polymer Engineering, Technical University of Munich (TUM) and Messe Düsseldorf Asia. The 1-day guest symposium will gather international experts and specialists from the industry and academia to share insights and developments in plastics engineering and the manufacture of medical plastics. The 1-day conference will include topics such as:
- Antimicrobial plastics
- Plastics + electronics
- Additive plastics engineering
Co-located with T-PLAS 2019, the symposium topics run synergistically with the exhibition’s special zones of Medical Plastics and Raw Materials – a dedicated platform to showcase a range of innovative components, processing machineries and products and equipment catered to the raw materials industry.
Led by MedTech - Institute of Medical and Polymer Engineering, Technical University of Munich (TUM) is one of Europe’s top universities, committed to excellence in research and teaching, interdisciplinary education and the active promotion of promising young scientists. The inaugural Singaporean-German Symposium took place in Singapore last year with the aim to bring together Southeast Asian and German industrial and scientific partners for collaboration on R&D projects, and medical technology product developments as well as international training.
