Thailand to Increase Plastic Export Value to THB1.1 Trillion

The Ministry of Industry is planning to increase revenue from plastic exports to 1.1 trillion baht by the year 2021.

The Industry Ministry’s Permanent Secretary Somchai Chanhiran said that Thailand is a major exporter of plastic to both the ASEAN and the global market, despite most of the products are exported in the form of plastic pellets which are not so expensive.
