The exhibition featured 220 exhibitors from 19 countries and regions, and firmly positioned its role as a comprehensive business and sourcing platform, showcasing the latest in machinery, equipment, raw materials, and services for the sectors. The event saw a global assembly of manufacturers, producers, and leading industry brands, with notable participation from national pavilions and country groups coming from Austria, China, Germany, India, Italy, Singapore, and Taiwan.

The upcoming edition of T-PLAS will move to 2023 and will now take place from 20 – 23 September at BITEC, Bangkok, Thailand. This move from the previously announced dates in February of next year was deemed necessary in view of the recent uncertainties surrounding the arrival of the coronavirus Omicron variant, new travel restrictions, quarantine requirements, as well as suspended air travel from variant hit countries.

The International Trade Fair for the Plastics and Rubber Industries will now be moved to 9 – 12 February 2022 at BITEC, Bangkok, Thailand. The exhibition was originally scheduled for September this year. As one of the region’s leading trade fairs for the co-related plastics and rubber industries, T-PLAS will now be strategically-held alongside several other exhibitions under the Messe Düsseldorf Asia umbrella, including; PACK PRINT INTERNATIONAL, MEDICAL FAIR THAILAND, wire and Tube Southeast Asia, and the inaugural editions of CorruTec ASIA, GIFA and METEC Southeast Asia.

T-PLAS continues to show optimistic growth: Delivering value and future-proof solutions for the region’s plastics and rubber sectors

T-PLAS, the biennial International Trade Fair for the Plastics and Rubber Industries welcomed 8,820 trade visitors from 60 countries, a marked increase of almost 10% compared to 2017. It was also stage to a wide range of raw materials and auxiliaries, semi-finished goods, and reinforced plastics, and machine and equipment serving the plastic and rubber sectors put up by 138 exhibitors when it concluded last month at BITEC, Bangkok. The internationality at the specialist exhibition was undoubted as seen from the 85 percent of exhibitors who came from abroad, including five national pavilions and country groups from Austria, China, Germany, Singapore and Taiwan.
